Leisure

A better place
for leisure

With over 170 acres of green open space, time can be spent outdoors, strolling through landscaped parklands, enjoying a picnic, or exploring hidden dells and secret paths in the woodlands. There’s an allure to the great outdoors and the simple pleasures it offers.

There's plenty of opportunity to get active on the wide-open playing fields, or immerse yourself in the rich sporting culture that Canterbury has to offer.

See what’s on at the Community Centre, and watch the world go by with a coffee in the local shops. Even grow your own fresh food on the allotments!

Mountfield Park is for its residents to live, meet and enjoy.

Leisure
A better place to be active

Walking along the tree lined streets or cycling in the dedicated lanes, a beautiful open space is never far away.

Pass through young orchards, across wildlife rich ponds and visit the beautiful parks. Play sports in the new community centre, or join the local sports club. Dig your allotment and reap the benefits of an active lifestyle.

First class cricket can be enjoyed each summer at the home of Kent Country Cricket Club, The Spitfire St Lawrence Ground.

For sports lovers of all ages, Mountfield Park includes space for indoor and outdoor sports, with plans for an all-weather surface guaranteeing year-round activity.

Towards the south of the development are community playing fields, while further to the North is a sports ground with space for full sized cricket and football pitches. Pavilions at each will provide changing and storage facilities to support community sports clubs.
